Albuterol work well?: An old but true saying "not all that wheezes is asthma". Typical symptoms of asthma: coughing that is worse with exercise, cold air, laughter and during sleep. Bottom line: coughing ; wheezing should get a lot better with albuterol. If to does you probably have asthma. If it doesn't you may have really bad asthma or something else. See a real doctor for help.
