Not a problem: Insulin is safe in pregnancy, in fact it is definitely first line therapy for a lot of women who have diabetes in pregnancy. The most important thing to remember in pregnancy, is that your blood sugars can fluctuate more widely when you have diabetes in pregnancy, thus frequent monitoring is essential. Also meeting with nutritionist to make sure you're on a diabetic diet is essential as well.
