No: Pale stools with normal labs and ultrasound usually are not worrisome and most likely represent rapid transit in the intestine. "gerd" or gastroesophageal reflux is an irritation of the upper digestive system often causing the symptom of heartburn and does not usually affect bowel movements.

Not likely: Gerd (gastro esopageal reflux disease), has to do with reflux of acid into the esophagus. This has heartburn, regurgitation, nausea, dysphagia, and bleeding, among other things. But not pale stool. Problems with the pancreas might do this. Pancreatic cancer can have clay-colored stools. Unless this presents with other signs and symptoms, it would be hard to say what it is without more tests.
