Very unlikely: It is unlikely you shed virus that often. In genital herpes due to HSV2, shedding typically is 5% to 20% of the time. But actual transmission risk is lower; often shedding is in very small amounts of virus, too little for easy transmission to partners. You can reduce shedding and transmission risk with valacyclovir or acyclovir. Unlike HSV2, HSV1 genital shedding and sexual transmission are rare.
