Not at all: The computer should be adjusted to put out the amount of light that makes you comfortable to using it. Your concern would imply for instance, that working at length at night with low light would be damaging (which it is not of course). Prolonged computer use can be fatiguing and sometimes drying, but not hazardous and will not damage the eyes.
