What to do if i woke up with a sore throat and i have track practice in 2 hours. can i just sooth the pain for then or even better, get rid of it?

If it is a viral: Or bacterial infection - don't think you'll get rid of it in two hours. If you feel sick- i would hold off on track practice. . Consider tylenol (acetaminophen) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Saltwater gargles: mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle with aloe vera juice twice a day. Gargle several times a day.
