If you are pregnant and you're ready to start active pills, a test should be positive, so you can take an otc pregnancy test. Sometimes lining on birth control is so thin, however, there's nothing to bleed from.

Chance is: Very small and depending on the pill it is possible to have slight or no bleeding. Ok to take a pregnancy test to be sure but almost certain is negative. Has happened though. Plan on starting new pack on time.
