Sore throat & ulcer: A little ulcer could be a canker sore, known in medicine as aphthous stomatitis, the cause of which is unknown. It may be due to viral, bacterial or fungal infection, an allergic reaction to some food, or acid reflux. Something like that could rarely be a manifestation of autoimmune diseases and the like, such as crohn's, lupus, celiac, or behcet's.
