Fleabites: Without a picture i can only assume that the ugly marks you are talking about represent scratch marks from scratching your flea bites.Use pyrethrin to kill the fleas and remove your dog or cat from the environment if they are the source if the fleas. They can be treated by your vet. The pyrethrin should work after several treatments. You can use 1 percent Hydrocortisone to remove your ugly scratch.
