Chills/ Rigors: Can occur with high fevers. Rigors is marked shivering that can occur with a high fever related to inflammation or infection. The set point in the hypothalamus is thrown off so that the body feels cold. This can be related to significant medical issues so don't be hesitant to seek medical eval.
