Labor v. delivery: Not all women who experienced pre-term labor need progesterone, only those who had pre-term birth. If the preterm birth was due to condition like placenta previa, pre-eclampsia or other maternal of fetal conditions that warrant delivery, then Progesterone may not help. But that decision should be made by your obstetrician or perinatologist.
