Possibly: Darkened nipple color can accompany pregnancy, but is not diagnostic. Missed menstrual periods and a positive pregnancy test are much better signs. If you've missed your period and have had unprotected sex, take a pregnancy test and find out.

In order to confirm: A normal sign of pregnancy is for the area around the nipple, the color change can start as early as a week or two after conception. But still you need to have early pregnancy test strips in order to confirm.

Can change: There are other signs and tests that are more useful. If you are having sex, that is always a consideration!

Take a test: Don’t guess. Take a test. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.
