No long term proplem: Tendinitis is as a result of overuse of muscles.Leading to pain and inflammation at the insertion of the muscles to the bone. It does not involve the actual joint it self even though close to it. If you exercise and strengthen your muscle to normal strength then you should not have any long term problems in future , but the important thing is to gain the strength to normal side leg. Don't understand: What you mean by tendinitis of knees? Is your condition involving the tendons surrounding the knees- do you have other joint complaints- are you an athlete?- do you exercise a lot. Did u have rheumatic fever as a child?- lot's of questions about your complaint.
