A member asked:

How do you treat a child with ataxia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Seriously: Ataxia suggests that there is a serious problem in the cerebellum, part of the brain. It needs neurological investigation. Sometimes there is a biochemical reason involving energy metabolism and this should be considered if neurologica studies do not find a reason such as a tumor.
