Missed period: The most common reason for a missed menstrual period is pregnancy, but there are other possible causes also. Losing weight quickly can cause you to miss your period; obesity may interrupt it also. Stress can interfere with ovulation and disrupt menses. Other causes include strenuous exercise; thyroid disease; medications; eating disorders; shift changes. Your period may still arrive.
