My 3yr old has this intermittent painful lump behind her rt ear, at the base of her jaw.took antibiotics but came back.no cough & colds, no drainage.

Rule out dental: If she had this issue resolve a bit with antibiotics and then it came back then take her to a dentist or pediatric dentist to rule out oral infection. Once that has been ruled out and the lump is still there then take her to a pediatrician for further evaluation.
