A member asked:

My period hasnt been regular recently.this time i haven't gotten it in over 2 months. i'm not pregnant for sure. what could it be? do i need a doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Irregularity ok: There are several reasons why a woman can have irregular cycles. A lot depends upon her age, but this is not considered a serious problem. Consult with your ob/gyn. Can be related to perimenopause, an ovulation, stress, exercise, weight gain or loss, and some medical conditions such as hypothyroidism
