Health Consequences: Smoking by far. But, that does not mean that moderate or excess alcohol does not have health consequences.

That depends: Smoking generally is dangerous to your overall health, and nothing good comes from smoking. Drinking alcohol in moderation, for example a glass of red wine a day, has shown some beneficial effects on cardiovascular health in some studies. If you drink on the other hand to excess and are an alcoholic, that leads to serious medical issues, both psychologically and physically harmful.
