how does minivelle patch work. is it possible it increases testosterone which in turn increases estrogen?

No: The Minivelle patch is an estrogen patch. It actually is going to lower testosterone. But, because it's an estrogen patch, it will increase estrogen, but you likely already knew that, i'm guessing.
