Very possibly: A peanut allergy is very possible and eating peanuts or peanut butter should be avoided until you see your pediatrician or allergist. It's not unusual to have a peanut (a bean) allergy and not be allergic to tree nuts, however, !allergy testing often discloses allergy to at least one type of tree nut. Your md should be able to tell you what to avoid.
