No quick answer: The total daily dosage for adults is usually 2-6mg/day of this medication. Sometimes higher dosages are used. The doctor has to take to account the person's age, medical condition, other medications being taken, response to the medication, as well as the reason for the medication and the game plan of how the medication will used and over what time period. Complicated stuff. Talk to ur doc.
