Depends: It's little fast at your age. People who exercises a lot have slower heart rate in 50's. If this heart rate bothers you in terms of palpitations, dizziness or shortness of breath u need to get checked by a primary doctor or even cardiologist and get at least an ekg done. If this fast heart rate happens occasionally everyday and not all the time u still should get checked by a cardiologist.
