Constipation: If you are taking prenatal vitamins with iron, that can constipate you. Drink an adequate amount of water. Consider metamucil or high fiber foods. Natural remedies include a daily intake of 6-8 prunes or prune juice. Vitamin c is used by some docs for constipation, but I do not recommend high doses during pregnancy.
