I have a bruise in the middle of my collarbone and there is a bump. i haven't had any recent trauma to the area. what could have caused it?

Some sort of minor -: Trauma must have occured, like bumping into something, without realizing it when happened. Any history of drinking? Any meds you are on, like aspirin, which in some people can cause bruising? If there is a fx, then it might have been due to a weakened bone from a cyst, that broke, from day to day activities, resulting in a bruise, bump. I am sure that would be rather painful. See an orthopod.
