6 weeks pregnant. went to first appt today. wants to see me in a week. didn't say why. is this normal? i thought they want to see u in 4 weeks?

Not usual.: I suspect there was some reason of concern. One obvious one would be if an ultrasound was done and no heartbeat was seen. We usually can see a heartbeat by 6 weeks. Next time, be sure to ask why they want an early appointment.
