A member asked:

Had a high cpk count for a couple of years. always above 600. i've seen a cardiologist a rheumatologist had an emg and a biopsy who can i see about?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See details: A CPK of 600 is not very impressive. If you have had a complete evaluation including thyroid studies, lyme titer, etc and you have no tenderness or weakness, i would not worry about the cpk. I assume you are not on a statin. I have seen numerous patients with the same modest CPK elevation and they only rarely found to have an underlying issue.
