A member asked:

If someone had both a chronic and acute overdose on aspirin would it increase the chance of it being fatal?

Why do you ask?: Your question concerns me deeply. Chronic heavy dosing of Aspirin was common in the mid-20's century for managing rheumatoid arthritis and people did fairly well on it. If you know someone who is overdoing aspirin, get that person to a health care professional. If you are yourself thinking of harming yourself with Aspirin or anything else, please get appropriate help. Best wishes.
