Blood in stool: It sounds like you need to go to the emergency room for evaluation. Especially if you are having bloody stool and other symptoms. Good luck!

If this occurs along with left sided abdominal discomfort and diarrhea, an inflammatory condition like ulcerative colitis or intestinal infection may be present..Your physician should evaluate this and may refer you for stool cultures and a consultation with a gastroenterologist.
