Whatever you eat: At 1 year old, your child can eat any foods you eat. You'll want to make sure foods are cut small so that the child doesn't choke. Avoid juices and other sugary drinks. Avoid highly processed foods and meats, because they are full of chemicals that aren't good for anyone. Continue whole milk and dairy. Feed a variety and don't force foods that he/she doesn't like.
