i recieved a meningitis vaccine in july 2012. not sure which other than it was for meningitis. was exposed today. how long immunity lasts? protected?

At least 3 to 5 yrs: According to the research presented by the advisory committee on immunization practices (acip), which is one of the most research-based groups out there on this topic, the antibody protection from Meningococcal vaccines last at least 3-5 yrs for most.
