Stones can develop quite quickly when subjects get dehydrated ; urine is concentrated with calcium, uric acid etc.People with hypercalcuria (2 much calcium) inflammatory bowel disease, oxalosis, cysteinuria or prolonged recumbency such as after a leg fracture all stone prone.
