Can be treated: Yes, panic attacks can be treated. Medications can definitely help, but there are effective psychotherapeutic treatments also. See a psychologist who does cognitive behavioral therapy. Again, medications may be a helpful part of treatment -- depending on how intense and frequent your panic attacks are.
