Certainly: Both mood and anxiety disorders are associated with increased level of pain perception. Physical concomitants of anxiety are part of the syndrome and quite often , a person may repeatedly present with variable levels of physical symptomatically before a diagnosis of anxiety is made and a resolution is reached. It could: Psychological stress can cause all kinds of physical symptoms, but before you decide that it is psychological, it is important to rule out any medical problem which could have been brought on by stress or may be causing the symptoms. Get a physical and speak to your physician. If they find no medical causation or think you simply need to learn some stress reduction techniques, find a psychologist.
