Genetic mutations: Tobacco (whether chewed or smoked) contains chemicals called carcinogens. These chemicals can cause genetic changes to the cells inside of your mouth that lead to cancer. If you drink alcohol and use tobacco, your chance of this happening is much higher. If you use tobacco, now is great time to quit!
