TV ads vs real need: You've asked a very difficult question to answer that is still being pondered around country. Clearly, there are those whose testosterone is truly low and benefit from replacement. But there is also great concern that big pharm is medicalizing a normal part of aging and w/o fully understanding all risks ; side effects. Does add'l testosterone make a difference? In some men, yes, but at what risk?
