What can a diabetic eat and not eat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can vs. should: Hi. Many diabetics eat horribly, showing they CAN eat anything. Diabetics (like everyone else) SHOULD eat healthy: whole grains, fruits & veggies, healthy oils (canola, olive), nuts, legumes, lean meats, nonfat dairy, with minimal simple sugar, white flour, saturated fat.
