Help please? what is the standard dignostic test to confirm cancer metastasis?

PET scan: It depends on the type of cancer whether it is visible on pet scan. Most of the time a ct chest/sbdomen/pelvis will detect abnormalities, and if the abnormality is greater than 1 cm a pet scan will find it.
