Help please? what is the cause of seeing dots with headaches?

May be aura: Some migraine events, "classical" migraine, have visual events called auras, with bright sparkling lights blocking vision, but often, portions of visual field can be blocked by visual scotomata. See a neurologist and get this assessed.
