I'm traveling internationally, am i more likely to contract bird flu?

Not really: Bird flu is spread by migrating wild birds and domestic birds (chickens etc) the risk to travelers is very low unless you will be handling birds, especially sick birds. Avoid markets that sell live birds. As always, make sure any poultry you eat is thoroughly cooked.
