Time of uremic death: The time of death due to uremia varies from person to person. Those who stop dialysis may live anywhere from one week to several weeks, depending on the amount of kidney function they have left and their overall medical condition. Other patients who have kidney failure and who have not started dialysis may live for weeks, as well. The time of death depends on the same factors listed earlier.
