A member asked:

How worrying would a withdrawal from smoking be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Worrying?: Tobacco withdrawal, like other withdrawal syndromes, varies from very mild to very severe, depending on how much you smoke and your own biology. However, even the worst withdrawal is not dangerous in and of itself, although the depression that can come with it can be. It is usually just irritability, muscle cramps, and can be treated with medication and psychological support.
