Has anyone had eye surgery for strabismus? what can i expect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery: It's outpatient surgery done on one or both eyes simultaneously and typically involves re positioning muscle attachment points on the eye to allow the two eyes to be more aligned. Expect to go home afterwards with red irritated eyes, using drops, with a follow up appointment typically the next day and periodically over the next month or so. The end result is straight eyes and no double vision.
