Balance: Every child should have 20-30 minutes of aerobic exercise every day (running, sports, etc). Push-ups, chair squats, bicep curls (with light weighs) are all acceptable. Unless a teen is at his final (stage 5) of puberty, heavy weight lifting is not recommended. A well-balanced, healthy diet including meat, vegetables, dairy, fruits, etc is advised as well.
