Ganglion cyst it : Matters where the cyst is and who you are and what you do for a living. These are important individualized questions to ask your surgeon. But a general answer is anywhere from a few days to a few weeks ( your mileage may vary).

B sure U C a hand. .: ...surgeon 4 removal if that's where it's located. After surgery U may have a splint 4 a week, & then U gradually work into Ur daily routine. Takes 4-6 wks 4 complete healing . No sports or heavy use until U have ROM back as well as strength. Don't push it, Ur hand stays with U all Ur life, so a couple months of being careful will get U the best result.
