Swelling around rt ant lateral knee. i notice pain when i bend it. unsure of any injury there as i'm busy and active. any ideas? should i rush to dr?

Have you: Tried ice, compression, rest and elevation and using anti inflammatory medication regularly such as Ibuprofen 4 three thimes a day with food or aleve (naproxen) 2-3 twice a day with food . If not better in a couple weeks seek care.

Knee pain : With swelling and discomfort warrants an examination by your physician. You want to be sure there is no blood nor fracture . Often times when we are active and busy , we bumped into things and don't think anything of it till we hurt or see physical change like bruises , pain ; swelling. In meantime, you can take Motrin or alleve for pain.
