Sprained foot: Usually it gets better each day. So having problems at day 5 is an issue. I would have this checked out perhaps start pt.

Have it evaluated.: Twisting ones’ ankle can result in ligament or tendon injuries which may lead to ankle swelling, pain, and possibly instability. Severe injuries may lead to swelling and possible nerve damage.

Depends on how: Bad the swelling is. Incidently, did you have x-rays taken?
