Topical anesthetics: Other than just wait for it to heal, you can try a topical anesthetic like orajel to numb it up enough to eat. Sorry this has happened but in time it will heal. Avoid food/drinks that are hot for now. Cold things should be easier to take in. Softer or gooey foods like yogurt and cottage cheese should be easiest to eat. Give it a week or so.

Wait: There really isn't anything you can do, but wait for the body to heal. You can go to your pharmacy and ask the pharmacist if there are any mouth pain treatments. They usually have a small amount of local anesthetic which might help you a little when you eat. Otherwise, you will just have to endure unit it heals.
