Carbamazepine: For cranial nerves neuralgia's Carbamazepine or Oxcarbazepine are drugs of the 1st line. I am positive that your doctor knows your present condition, past medical history and your and considers risk/reward ration, but you can ask anyway. Snri is safe, but not used in neuralgia. Do not self medicate consult with your treating physician. Respectfully.
