Is fishoil or flaxseed oil good for arthritus?

Not really: Studies have really shown no significant benefit from either agent. In the original studies of fish oil in ra, only extremely high doses helped at all. Those doses were so high that they carried significant risks of side effects.

Good Question: It is not known whether fish oil or flaxseed oil help with arthritis symptoms such as joint pain or stiffness. We still do not know if these supplements slow down the progression of arthritis.
