Likely a skin gland: The most common cause is a minor infection in a skin gland try warm soaks for several days but then get it checked if it does not resolve.

Pimple : Such changes can occur in many different parts of the body. Of course, there are many other possibilities (e.g. Inflammed lymph nodes). Bartholin's gland cysts (although not in the classic location) is yet another possibility. Sitz baths (soaking the perineum in a shallow pan/bucket of warm water with a touch of epsom salt for about five minutes daily) can sometimes decrease any symptoms.
